How long is your Christmas leave? We'll be at Ryan's parents' from the 24th to the morning of the 26th, at which point we'll be flying to MD until January 3rd. I don't know how far your family lives from Ryan's but maybe we could see you during the day of Christmas Eve?

One reason I miss college so much is that it is very hard to find other such people around here.

The people I know who would do that are probably not a good sample of the population, as they all went to WPI and most of them roomed with you at some point.

It looks like good stuff, in general, but I think I'm going to just wait for 3.0 in two weeks and handle all the transition issues then.

Heh! Last night I read through "What's New in Python 2.6," and a good part of the way into the documentation for the new multiprocess module before realizing the browser's scrollbar thumb was only a small fraction of the way down the page, and I wasn't going to finish it any time soon.

I suspect that perfect machine translation may have to wait for true AI to emerge; at a minimum, you need a system able to think about the author's intent and the best way to represent a foreign idiom.

Translation between european languages has come a long way in recent years, though. Early Babelfish results were horrible!
