The following is a paragraph from a novel I enjoy. However, the author ran the published version through an auto-translator to Japanese and back, and this is the result:
I stole the king woman from wheelbarrow king of sleep. I burnt under the town of Trebon. I passed the night of Felurian, my sanity and went away with my life both. I was discharged rather than being able to allot most people from the university of a younger age. I the other people between day step on the road with the moonlight which is feared in order to speak concerning. I God, to the song by the document which makes the woman and the wandering minstrel cry who are loved spoke.
It can inquire about me.
Two points apply:
1) I grant points to those who can identify from this the novel and the author.
2) It looks like the auto-translator did a decent job turning SVO into SOV on the way to Japanese, but an imbecilic job reversing the process. I blame this on the fact that technically, using an semi-archaic grammar, in English this is allowed.
