I saw The Watchmen last night, in the first showing in the local area. The character for whom I felt the most empathy was Dr. Manhattan.

I suspect that this says something about me.

I’m not sure what it says about you, but I suspect it says something similar about me. I felt a lot of empathy for Dr. Manhattan, especially at the end. It was an amazingly well done movie, but so incredibly mind warping (Ryan and I hadn’t read the book; I’m not sure if that would have made a difference).

It’s a book worth reading if you get the chance. A lot of what gets only a few seconds of screentime gets expanded out into its own proper detail.
