Here’s a presentation listing some of the apps available for phones running Android. Few people are likely to use all of those, but almost anyone will find a handful which they find awesome, which are free, and which are not available on the iPhone.
I have to run, so this post is shorter than it would otherwise be. However, I suspect that there are more than a few people who’ll face some consumer regret six months down the road that they ever spent money on the iPhone.
For me, the big thing will be finally being able to get a mainstream open-source phone. There are a few options already, but I can’t exactly walk into my cell phone store of choice and get one. I’d love to be able to copy my music, tweak the one default that I don’t like, etc.
