When I was in Japan teaching, I never worked more than five hours in a day. I just didn’t have a high volume of business there. Today, I got home ten and a half hours after setting out to go to work, looked at my watch, and was happy because I had got out early. I make only slightly more now than I did then.
What’s weird is that I like this job a lot more.
If you like what you do you never work a day in your life.
Heh. That feeling gets quite familiar over the years, to be honest. Remember, the 40-hour week is a delusion that occurs only to people in the AF and out in the Real World. :p
