On the one hand, it’s really quite warm out for this season. On the other hand, there is a hard rain falling, and that tends to dampen my enthusiasm at being outdoors for long. It’s the kind of weather where no matter what jacket I wear, I still end up soaked and cold because the rain (which would have otherwise have been distributed evenly over my body) just runs down the waterproofing, drips off the bottom edge, and soaks my pants.
If the weather were 30 or 50 degrees lower and this were a blizzard, I’d be loving it. As it is, this rain is just annoying me. Who said warmer climates were better?
