Updating the drivers for my video card didn’t help with the game-crashing-ness. I’m probably just going to stick to ancient games for a while–maybe later I’ll do something so I can play games released in the last few years. It’ll involve buying, at minimum, a new video card (though I really don’t want to; this ‘old’ one is a Geforce 6600 GT. It’s not the newest, but it still costs over $200 even now), and perhaps assembling a system to handle the gaming.

This annoys me, but I don’t know what other option I have.
