Anger

Usually, when I get angry, it’s because I’ve failed in some significant manner. But there are certain other behaviors that really piss me off in other people. Racism and sexism to name a few.

But one thing above all others that makes me angry, enough so that I stop thinking about the consequences and just want to inflict violence upon the perpetrators, is when something completely good is attacked.

It was a simple memorial to 9-11. A flag and some text that I saw last September, a year after the tragedy. And the author was being harassed for being ignorant, for being a fool, for being force-fed by Big Media, that it was our own damn fault, and other assorted nonsense.

I did nothing. I saw no way to help. I’m still angry about that.
