Finished playing through the game ‘Hitman 2: Silent Assassin’. It was very good, though I’m afraid that I could have accomplished most of the missions with more finesse. I may play through it again a second time to improve my rating. I hear rumors that you get a different, better ending cutscene if you play perfectly (by getting a ‘silent assassin’ rating) on each level. That may take some work; the best rating I’ve had so far was ‘ninja extraordinaire’, and I only got that once. More often it was something like ‘hatchet man’, or once or twice, ‘mass murderer’.
A worthy game if you enjoy skulking around with a concealed silenced pistol in your coat, wearing other peoples’ clothing, skating death and dealing it in carefully measured doses. Not so good if you’re more into charging about with guns blazing; it’s far too easy if you choose to take that route.
Next stop: unreal 2.
